topic: Fasting & Prayer

As the end of the year approaches, there is a need to set a time aside to be thankful to God for his goodness and mercies through the whole year and also pray for his guidance and compassion for the year we are to enter.

Everyone experienced this year in their own special way. It might have been a great year for you or it wasn’t that great, but in all things we give thanks to God, because we know he has better plans for us each and every day.

And for this reason, this week has been set aside to fast and seek the face of God. As Apostle Paul, we are forgetting the past and looking forward to a wonderful year ahead of us.

From Monday till Sunday, there will be special devotions available on the website and the App to help you through the fasting and prayer days.
As you are about to enter into the fasting and prayer week. Our prayer is that the word will open your heart and so that His words will remain there forever more.

Remember, we have all done things for which we are ashamed and we live in the tension of what we have been and what we want to be. Because our hope is in Christ, however we can let go of past guilt and look forward to what God will help us become. Don’t dwell on your past. Instead, grow in the knowledge of God by concentrating on your relationship with him now. Realize that you are forgiven and then move on to a life of faith and obedience.

Look forward to a fuller and more meaningful life because of your hope in Christ. May God bless you and tune in tomorrow for Day 1 of our fasting and prayer week.

Have a blessed week.

Philippians 3

13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
