Be Equipped and Filled with the Holy SpiritAct 4:31
How does the Holy Spirit equip us?
He give us power to be witnesses (Acts 1:8)Being witnesses simply means sharing the gospel with others to populate the Kingdom.
Help Us Pray in Gods Will (Romans 8:26)When we feel like we do not know what to say in prayer or how, the Holy Spirit will reveal what to say and how to say it. The Holy Spirit ignites our Passion. When we begin to align our hearts with HIM, He will ignite a passion within us for the things He's asking us to do.
He opens doors (Experiential)He can surprise us by opening doors. The Holy Spirit can also guide others to open opportunities for us.
He helps us conquer our fears (Experiential)When we're afraid of change or afraid to step beyond our comfort zone, He can help us conquer those fears.
He provides the skills we need (Experiential)The Holy Spirit can provide the skills we need. He only asks that we trust and take a step.
He Leads and Guides our FootstepsThe Bible says in Psalm 37:23 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD." The Holy Spirit lead and guide our lives. The Holy Spirit also connects us with the right people in all facet of life. ((Experiential)).
How can one be Filled with the Holy Spirit?By surrendering your will to the Lord, and believing by faith to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Pray this prayer:Lord, I surrender my will to Yours, and I ask that You help me to love like You, be like You and understand Your ways. Fill me with Your Spirit by faith and help me to be active in prayer. Show me my purpose and gifts, please. I surrender my lordship to Jesus' Lordship in Jesus' Name. Amen.
